Win Win Watejet produce 1/4” and 3/8” Outer diameter HP tubing manual coning and threading tool kit. The tool kit can be used on site for users to make HP tube coning and tapping. One coning, and one threading tool both have optional accessories of 1/4” and 3/8” size. It’s convenient for users to make available size of HP tubing efficiently and improve waterjet cutting machine production.Simple and easy to use, it is dependent on correctly prepared and installed connections. High pressure tube with gland and collar must be appropriately rated and sized. Straight tubing lengths must be coned, threaded before installation.The threading tool for user to select the corresponding guide bushing and threading die to easily thread 1/4”, 3/8” HP tubing.

This set of coning and threading tools is specifically designed to create external threads on cylindrical objects such as pipes, rods or bolts. This process is called threading.
Similarly, coning is used to create internal threads in a hole or nut.When cutting external threads, a die is required. A mold is a cylindrical tool with cutting edges on its outer circumference. It is typically made from high-speed steel and is available in a variety of sizes to match the required thread specification. Dies are usually mounted on a die stock or handle for ease of use.To use the mold, the high-pressure pipe needs to be securely clamped or held in a vise. The mold is then aligned with the workpiece at the desired starting point. Pressure is applied and the mold rotates clockwise around the workpiece. As the die rotates, it cuts into the material, removing metal and forming threads. Repeat this process until you obtain the desired thread length.The choice of coning and threading tool depends on a variety of factors, such as the type of material being threaded, thread size and pitch, and available equipment.
